Villas are located in the village of Skala

About Skala
Skala is known for its long, beautiful and clean, sandy beaches and nearby there are small nature bays with secluded beaches. Here the sea is almost always calm. This has become very popular with tourists and has a livelier night life than most other villages in the area. The coast road from Skala to Poros is about 12km long and offers wonderful views of the changing sea, rocky cliffs and long pebbled beaches.

The original pre-earthquake village of Skala stood on the slopes of the hill to the North-East of the existing village. Many of the remains are still there and it is well worth a walk up the hills.

At the nearby beach of Potamakia you can find the caretta-caretta turtles which lay their eggs in the sand. Close to the village are mosaics from a Roman villa of the 3rd century A.D.

On the outskirts of the village, there are the ruins of the ancient temple of Apollo, dated the 7th century B.C. The whole area affords a splendid view of Zakynthos (Zante) island , Peloponnesus and the Ionian Sea.
